Crank action screwdrivers pre-date cordless drivers, but they are still handy enough to be useful today. Trying to make their Rapi-Driv screwdrivers more functional, Klein now sells a version with interchangeable tips. They may not have been the first company to stick an interchangeable bit holder on their crank action screwdriver, but theirs is the only version I could find.
The Rapi-Driv screwdriver comes with a dual-ended bit. At one end is a 3/16″ slotted tip, at the other is a #2 Phillips, and in the middle of the shank is a spring loaded ball to lock it into the holder. It’s the same bit that’s used in their 10-in-1 and 11-in-1 drivers. So technically you should also be able to use any bit from either of those drivers.
If you want to carry one less screwdriver in your pocket, the new Rapi-Driv will cost you $10.
