BrunchQuest is a bi-monthly opportunity to socialize with other gamers in the Puget Sound area. Brunches are sheduled at a local eatery, usually on a Sunday morning. Watch this space or your e-mail in-box for further announcements.
BrunchQuest needs some help/input. It started off with a bang, then faded into something even less than a whimper. But it wasn't for lack of trying! What ended up happening is that most of the brunchy places I know of in the greater Seattle area aren't willing to make reservations for 15-20 people on a Sunday morning. For example, Saltys would take us, but they're $35 flat rate for Sunday Brunch. For other places, such as Etta's, if we all arrive around 9AM, when they open, they'll hold space, but after that? No way, Jose. Most simply don't take reservations.
So I'm hoping those of you interested in meeting up for Seattle (and Beyond) Gamer Brunch every other month will help me brainstorm. What not-too-greasy-spoon places do you know that could fit 15-20 peeps in for brunch at one time, and would be glad to? Or do we say Brunch is between 9 and noon, and show up when you feel like it, and hopefully we'll all sit next to each other? Or just buckle down to early Sunday brunch once every two months? Or ... ? What can we do to make it work?
I really loved getting to see everyone last year, and hope we can do it again. Anyone have any brilliant ideas?
Thanks for the brainstorming!
