Just thought I'd take a moment to talk about wikis...
Wikis are supposed to be collaborative, so if you see something lacking, just edit the page and change it! For those of you that don't want to figure out wiki syntax (mainly you can use HTML), there is a What You See Is What You Get style editor (like MS Word rather than like a text field) available as well, just click on the WYSIWYG link at the bottom of every wiki node.
What to learn more about how to write straight wiki syntax? Check out
TWiki.TextFormattingRules for the details.
I've also updating some things about this twiki instance, unique customizations just for us:
- Added login link to permission denied for edit page
- Added TWiki.RedirectPlugin
- Enabled the comment feature
- Setup node permissions for private nodes
- Enabled WSIWYG editor
- PDT instead of GMT for time display
- Added 'Remember Me' box to login page, through RememberCookieLogin addon... and made the remember box checked and increased the timeout to 1 year (instead of 6 hours)
You can get as much or as little involved in this as you like, just thought I'd point out some stuff for the curious.
BTW. Since I've already mucked with the code somewhat (it's in perl for those interested) if you see something you really hate, I might be able to fix it...
