Session Logs
Session 01
March 9, 2009
Starting Scene: Zoom in Promethean Fleet from a field of stars, zoom to a raptor docked to a asteroid, as red lights come on, the cylons activate insider the cavern.
Previously on Battlestar Promethea…
The scene starts looking out on a sea of stars, and then a panning zoom over to the Promethean Fleet. They are near an asteroid, which upon zooming in is revealed a Raptor is docked onto the side. Inside the asteroid, a dark room lights up with glowing red points of light as a series of first-war cylons come to life.
Meanwhile, Two Days Ago:
- Red meets with Stavros – Red is looking for a way to get Susan Navarro off the Promethea. Stavros is happy to help in exchange for a crate of rifles, and he can use someone who’s good with computers. Red negotiates and eventually calls the deal off, deciding not to take the risk. He eventually speaks with Susan and offers to find a different way. Red approaches Thea Mason with the idea, and through the agreement that the military indentured servitude is too much, she agrees to harbor the scientist when the time comes.
Ten Hours Ago:
- Shane Darrago and Otis are on the Unity. Shane is notified that Aleka’s mother is looking for her daughter... apparently she’s been kidnapped from the Promethea. Paladin and Leland talk about how to deal with the kidnapping of Aleka, and Darrago speaks to both Boreas and Mason about ‘lessening the blow’ to Otis over these charges. Leland ends up going back to the Promethea peacefully.
- Vance shows off the new Viper fighter to Stallion. They see Boreas coming in to the dock, looking grim. He tells them about the Otis situation, and Vance clears the deck. Otis docks and is ushered off to some private quarters. And Aleka is returned to a worried Michelle and Galen and Lady Polikarpos.
- As Boreas is returning to CIC, Ricken asks him to look into Susan’s work, commenting that she’s obviously hiding something.
- Stallion and Red discuss getting Susan out of her ‘quarters’. Ricken shows up and asks about the new Viper, and the commander’s plans. Welcome aboard, Stallion!
- Susan gets a visitation from Dori Kage, in the form of an apparition. She says she’s here to help her not make any mistakes, and general ‘everything’s fine’ cooing noises. Susan freaks, throws a chair, hits the alarm like a good paranoid scientist. The guards come in, evaluate the tapes, she’s talking to herself. She asks to see Dr Gentry.
That Morning:
- Capt Russ notifies that a shuttle is coming on board with Hearst. Thea knows of him, an industrialist. They discuss setting an alliance.
Back to NOW:
- Titus reveals the cylons to Boreas and Vance, Titus makes some calls. Vance and Boreas discuss sabotaging, they can’t figure out the diagnostics.
- Titus calls Thea, asks her to come over to the asteroid.
- Titus gets Ricken to get the science brigade (Susan, Derringer, Galen, Red, Tonya Kiel). Ricken has Susan’s area and computer searched, to find nothing. Speculation is made onto what the hell is going on.
- They arrive at the asteroid, everyone gets to freak. Titus asks them to start evaluating the “arsenal” They are the Omega fleet, a group of cylons that were mothballed at the beginning of the cylon war.
- Susan’s freaking out, Galen comforts?
- Ricken’s in CIC, three base stars show up. Alert vipers are launched, Ricken calls the asteroid, gets Galen to get the Admiral.
- All hell breaks loose as the three abse stars begin their attacks. The vipers start to fight as ther Hephestus tries to divert one base star. Eventually the asteroid breaks open to start attacking the bad cylons. (the Omegas?) they cut through the base stars.
- Ricen shows up with a group of marines to pick up everyone off the shuttles that leave. Ricken and Thea have a conversation about the status of the fleet. Thea makes a fleet wide speech asking for a vote of no confidence.
Session 02
May 23, 2009
Back in time! Aboard the Omega, as the Promethea jumps out.
- Vance is asked to go check to see if the engines are operational, she pulls up the schematics and heads to the engine room… to run into a parade of cylons in ‘parade rest’ formation.
- The engines are fine, the Omega jumps! They return to the fleet.
Back on the Promethea, Ricken and mason are on CIC.
- The admiral calls the Promethea, why the heck did you jump? Because you’re rolling around in cylons, sir. And by the way, Thea Mason called for a vote of no confidence in the 20 minutes while you were gone. The admiral asks for a raptor to be sent over.
- The admiral makes his own speech to the fleet speaking about taking all and any means necessary in the committed effort to wipe out the cylons. Thea gets to business about calling up the quorum.
- Susan is lying down on a bed, semi-conscious, being attended to by Galen. Susan continues to freak. Galen gets to meet Dori Cage apparition…. Susan and galen talk about Dori.
- Ricken goes to Red to assemble a group of trusted marines, to imply a way to arrest the Admiral.
Meanwhile at the Quickie Quorum:
Thea, Hearst, “Paladin Darrago”, Saggitaron (Leslie), Picon (Chris), Leonis (Mike)
Sagitaron – no
Picon – No
Leonis – No
Gememnon – No
Aquarion – Yes
Canceron – Yes
Scoripa - Yes
Aralon – yes
Libris – yes
Caprica – No
Virgon – Abstain
Tauron – No
- The admiral orders everyone to head to the raptor, Sterringer offers to stay, gives Boreas a list of supplies to retrieve. Boreas asks to stay behind and proposes to Kiel, who also asks to stay behind. She’s amazingly giddy.
Stallion passes off the supply list to Engineer Vance, who is also giddy. All of the girls on the Base Star are pleased!
- The raptor approaches! Ricken gets Red, Vance and Stallion get the lowdown from Shark who’s piloting.
- Ricken meets with the Admiral, they go off privately to tell him he’s being detained. They discuss the fate of the fleet… and Ricken informs him she has to follow Mason’s orders to detain him. The Admiral locks down the Base star, and the base star moves on its own outside of gun range of the Promethea. Everyone loads into the raptor and takes off.
- Meanwhile, on the deck, Vance and Stallion note a viper being launched. It’s Rogue, he’s stolen Viper-Agnes and he spins up the experimental FTL and books out of there, explaining that this reign of anti-cylon tech. Vance checks his jump coordinates, it leads somewhere back to the asteroid.
- Paladin seems to have a feeling, something after the quorum meeting, and has a vision of a place in ice, and a sensation that he’s farther away from where he needs to be. (Stuff happens, missed this – Star charts?) Paladin sees the viper jump as he’s heading over in a shuttle to Promethea.
- Longinus speaks with Mason about lending any and all services from his followers, in case Mason was to be incarcerated.
- Thea and the Admiral Talk.
- The Promethea prepares to head back off to the asteroid to get supplies and find out what happened to Rogue.
- Paladin asks to be part of the search mission to find Rogue, because he’s wanting to search for something himself.
- Mason and Ricken have a long debriefing with Navarro.
- Vance jettisons a little squishy pulsating bit.
Session 03
June 20, 2009
Where we last left off:
The Promethea is planning on heading back to the asteroid to get sweet supplies and find out where the hell Rogue went to.
- Ricken makes a statement to the fleet, and makes it clear that military is now working with the civilian government, and that if you’re not part of the solution, get the hell out of the fleet. Also, she’s taking suggestions on how to sustain survivability against the cylons. The complaint box is set just past the airlock.
- Meanwhile, Galen’s working on his interstellar gas network transponder thingy. He’s overlooking his report, and there’s nothing interesting so far. He talks to Red, and they’ll work on getting the supplies/reports sooner from the secret cylon spying channel. There’s also talk about consolidating the civilian government so that things will be streamlined. “You pass the tickertape, I’ll get you some rations.” There were so many signals that’s there no more paper. They’re working on it.
- Susan Navarro goes and visits Lee. Lee’s still under ‘observation’. Susan brings up the idea of ‘going away’ from it all. Dori throws in witty commentary. There’s talk of escape. They agree to work on it.
- Thea and Thaddeus discuss the future plans. 1) Evaluate supplies 2) Look down the road (education) 3) space farming? & power/air supplies. Thea says, hey, I need a valium and talk to me after the Omega.
- Galen is prepping and this guy in a black suit with a bow tie. He’s Mr. Paul, and he’d like to be tested if he’s a cylon. He’s specifically being asked to be tested by a civilian. He’s going to be acting as a liason for the admiral while he’s being detained.
- Ricken tells Boreas to prepare for 30 civilians to stay in the cargo hold. And be added to the marine roster. In an hour. NOW.
- Loginus, is prepping for 30 people to be added to the Promethea and spread the word of the One.
- Sterringer is visited by Lieutenant Holly, and is suggested to go ‘see the Admiral’. They chat about coffee and maybe see you again (oh, geez Holly). Sterringer meets with the Admiral, and the Admiral asks him to work on making a atmospheric jamming weapon against cylon transmission. Sterringer leaves a note for Boreas for ‘an important gas science project’.
- Ricken calls Stallion in and promotes him to CAG
- Vance is getting together places to put supplies, runs in a frantic Boreas, Ellie misses Rogue, and Vance (kinda) comforts.
- Susan is looking for a way to sneak off during the chaos.
- Paladin is heading out with a team, that has different search coordinates.
- Loginus’ men arrive, and Ensign Myers leads then to their ‘quarters’
- Stallion lets Cassidy know that he’s promoted to CAG. Cassidy is giddy, Stallion wants to know who he pissed off.
- Some Guy lets Boreas know that the cylon recording system is down, ti’ll take a few days to rebuild it.
- Paladin heads off to some coordinates, and there’s an arc of ice shards off into space. Orc cloud! They’re looking for a planet. Instead there’s a sign of processed metal somewhere. They find a space installation on an asteroid. It seems old. Maybe like, Exodus old. And there seems to be power fluctuations, they prepare to land….. Apparently the building is facing the sun, and is not rotating. They get to the building, and there’s a chamber to enter, much like an airlock. In the center of the room, full of ancient symbols, there’s a computer array in the center of the room.
The meet a ‘Cortana-like image’ named Galanthis. Apparently Paladin has been sent an invitation. (Something about saving the world?) They ask about Rogue, and he’s possibly been picked up be a Base Star?
- Susan sets up an ambush, konks a Raptor pilot with a wrench and Otis punches out his larynx. Dori tries to flag Galen, but to no avail. They report an engine going critical, they launch and jump. Boreas is flummoxed. Ricken checks to make sure the Admiral is still here. Ricken and Boreas figure out that there’s been a mugging, and assign Stallion to check on the last known coordinates they jumped from.
- Meanwhile the science team goes and checks out the data on the asteroid bits. They pull the data, and then yank the hardware or erase what they need to make sure no one else can use it. They then go get a Mars Bar from the vending machine.
- Red snags some plants from Susan’s rooms, and then runs into a guy selling bootleg videos of the Omega fight. He makes a deal
- Loginus sets up the cots and is off to spread the word of the Lord! Eee!
- Vance is getting supplies off the asteroid. She’s pullin’ it apart.
- Stallion sends the raptor out to go look for the rogue Raptor.
- Ricken chews out Ellie until she cries.
- Vance gets the several hours she wants to strip the asteroid.
- Shark jumps back to report about the space station. Leave Paladin behind.
- Paladin is attacked at the asteroid by a heavy cylon raider. He radios
Cliffhanger!
Session 04
June 27, 2009
Cliffhanger!
Meanwhile on the Promethea, flashback!
There’s a lab on sparks and fires, and there’s old-type Cylons moving about, doing a search, at a desk hiding under a table, terrified is a little girl. Dori walks over and bends down, and says to little girl Susan, “Wake up!” There’s a white flash, and Susan is sitting in the ECM seat in a Raptor, the cabin full of smoke and flames. Lee is in the pilot’s seat, and he’s badly hurt, scorched down one side and large globs of blood free-float in the zero gee free fall. Dori appears, unaffected by the loss of gravity. Dori instructs her how to hit the emergency beacon.
She asks if Dori killed Jeff, and yes, she did, she was there. Susan unbuckles and checks on Lee, then grabs a medkit to patch him up. He’s barely responsive and his life is slipping away. As she’s tending him, a cylon raider jumps in and begins to scan. Susan screams and scrambles away from window.
- Red is off duty, and is walking by the marine gym and overhear a commotion. There’s a mob that surrounding a pair of figures, that are circling each other. Marine Jerry Durham is holding a baton, fighting with Tanya, for fun and betting galore. Red steps in, cheers them on. They fight a bit longer, Tanya scores a good hit on the solar plexus, bets are exchanged. Red invites Kiel to “Chez Storage Closet” for fine drinks.
As they’re heading over, there’s a cut-scene of Ellie being comforted by Loginus, a hopeful convert over to the One True God.
- Stallion is still managing the search, when he gets a transmission from Counsellor Shane Daraggo. He calls Promethea, they heard it too. Boreas tells Holly to figure out the transmission, how the hell did they get it out here?
- Galen is in the medical bay, when there’s a medical emergency called. Ricken’s been beaten to unconsciousness, and has a note nailed into her stomach with a infinity symbol. She’s rushed to medical, and she’s been badly beaten. Boreas takes a moment. Oh snap.
- Sterringer is working on decrypting the database.
- Thaddeus is looking over the portraits of his children while Thea is at the Promethea firing range practicing her handgun work.
- Paladin sees the doors blown in and two new centurions barge in along with a human model cylon, an asian-looking woman with a heavy scar across her face. She was known as Cheryl… He threatens to destroy the console, and they want to take him alive.
- Boreas orders of Hephestus to stay as overlook with the fleet, lets Vance know that they’re heading off to a rescue mission, and begins to spool up to jump to Paladin coordinates.
- Red hears from Stallion about the rescue mission and they are GUN-HO for going on a rescue.
- Susan watches as the raider leaves, and a base star appears. The air eventually becomes too thin and Susan passes out.
She wakes up on a bed, to the sounds of birds chirping, wind chimes, and a doctor looking over Susan. Dr. Santos is looking over Susan, and informs her that Lee is under their care, but his chances aren’t good. She’s aboard the Liberty… She meets another woman that looks really familiar, and when she hears her voice (something about before the surgery?) She stars screaming. After some calming down… they talk amongst themselves. They let her know they saved her life, and they’re following the colonial fleet. But you destroyed the colonies, oh, those were the Cylons. We’re the Bios… short for biologicals. She’s Suzanne Alpha. They will let her go, but they want to talk to her first. Suzanne reaches her hand out, and she projects her to the old greenhouse on the previous station Susan was on, complete with appropriate clothing.
She explains the ability to project was something from the engrams they were given. Apparently Susan can project, but it’s been repressed through trauma. Apparently the Dori in Susan’s head has been tapping Susan’s ability to project, and thus the manifestations. Can you boot Dori out of my head? They can work on it.
The bios split from the cylons a while ago, and they have been meaning to integrate with the humans. They’ve been evolving in the last 45 years away from cylon tech. They want to save Lee’s live, and want to work with Susan, and get some sort of diplomatic approach with the colonial fleet. They leave the projection and check on Lee. The halls of the bios ship is very pristine and organic. They head to another chamber and check in on Lee, who’s surrounded by life-support machinery.
- Paladin is still in a standoff. How’d they follow me? Well, you weren’t quite hiding your trail. Meanwhile, on the video screen, they see Shark with a raptor pushing the heavy raider off the platform and crash it into the asteroid. During the commotion, a disk ejects near Paladin’s hand, which he pockets. Cheryl heads over and start to hack the console, and seems to make some headway.
- Promethea jumps. They show up, and get a call from Shark, her ship’s been damaged but reports a heavy raider has been destroyed. Vipers launch, and Stallion takes an awesome shot to take out one of the centurions banging on the door. Cheryl and Paladin talk more, will they risk losing Paladin? Maybe, you know who’s running the ship, right?
Paladin is rushed by centurions and grabbed. She’s continuing to try to hack the computer, and extends out a cable. Meanwhile, the marines jettison from the raptors, blow out the windows to the base, and land inside. Red makes a spectacular jump onto a centurion and snap it’s mechanical neckpart. Paladin tackes the Cheryl, the Cheryl slaps something on the console. Red notices that there’s a an explosive and it’s set to go off now. They jump out of the explosive range, with possibly Tanya still stuck behind.
- Vance is ordered to get the hell out of the asteroid, as sees the Omega and Hephestus being fired upon by two base stars. They frantically drop everything they’re doing and jump to the emergency location.
- Meanwhile at the asteroid, Promethea engages cylon raiders. Boreas attempts to maneuver the Promethea to stop them from destroying the asteroid, but they’re just a bit too late. They’re able to pick up the raiding party, with a Kiel missing an arm. Boreas is able to see Tanya off before she heads off to surgery for triage.
- The Promethea meets up with the fleet, there’s a meeting. Stuff is told. A painting shows up halfway through that has been made by the Admiral, it’s of the asteroid base, and he had painted it two days beforehand.
- Vance heads to check in on Ricken in the medical bay, Ricken comes to, as her world is pain. Vance gives Ricken the update as to what’s going on.
- Boreas lets Mason know about current events, and Thea informs Thaddeus about what’s going on. Thea says she’s heading the Hephaestus, and they should start prepping the Unity for cylon testing. She makes a brief stop to check in on Ricken, and heads out.
- Vance and Paladin stop by to see the Admiral, and they are let in by Mr. Paul. They discuss over the painting, and how the inspiration came to him, which seems odd. Admiral shows Paladin a pencil sketch of a desertly place, with some strange structure with odd doors in it. Paladin seems to have some sort of familiarity, but isn’t sure. They talk about if these vision things extend to written docs, and they agree to talk to Loginus and get a hold of the scrolls. Also, he asks if they would be willing to speak on the Admiral’s behalf when the time comes, and they agree. They talk about the Omega, and that eventually the Omega is going to need to go through maintenance. They also talk about Ricken. Eventually heads into smalltalk.
- Boreas meets with Ricken, passes along some information, and wishes her well.
- Sterringer meets with Holly and gives her the list of incriminating evidence.
- Holly gives the incriminating evidence to the Admiral. She’s loyal!
Session 05
I wasn't there. You guys figure it out.
Session 06
July 25, 2009
There is a riot on the Zeus, touched off by the recent fleet wide broadcast promoting the religion of the one god. There has been shuttles launched with marines heading towards the Zeus. This information is released over the wave on the ‘free press’.
- Stallion gets a hold of Holly and asks for Councellor Darrago.
- Daraggo is working on tracking down where the shuttle came from delivering the cylon, he’s talking with Stallion about the riots. Since Darrago is a respected man of the cloth of the gods, Stallion asks for advice and help. Darrago would like to go visit the Zeus along with Loginus. Instead, they are going to try to talk to them over wave while they are heading over physically to quell the riot.
- Boreas has a heartleft moment with Tanya, lets her know she lost her arm.
- They’re scrambling a fast transport raptor to get the councellors over to the Zeus.
- Chief starts working on scrapping Agnes.
- Ricken comes back up to CIC, orders the Hephesteaus to stand in the way between the Omega and the Zeus… the Zeus is the most current threat to the fleet, so why not?
- Shuttle is launched! Chock full of VIPs.
- Galen goes about getting a sample of Agnes.
- Sterringer is working on synthesizing more Gas.
- Mason finally comes to, speaks with Galen about his mother’s disappearance. Then Mason speaks to Thaddeus about political plans… and what’s up with the asteroid research? He’ll look into that, and also arrange an interview with the free press.
- Susan is looking around for a ship on top of the Bios ship. She tells Leland about the plans, and there’s some arguing. Suzanna Alpha shows Susan the hydroponics area. Growing plants! She’s told that she has the option to leave on her own free will and return to the fleet. However, Suzanna would like to go back with Susan to the fleet. They talk over a plan of finding a nice rock to park on and bringing a fruit basket.
- On the VIP Raptor! They dock, there’s a ship-wide speech about how we need to settle our differnces and stop trying to kill each other. Don’t worry, the Cylons will take care of killing all of us. Loginus stays by the comm center to field questions and do a Town Hall meeting.
Paladin went down to talk the hostages down.
Loginus was fielding the Town Hall meeting.
Interrorgation of Sharon/Boomer. Dori’s a 3, Sharon’s an 8.
Cap’t Vance kicked Loginus off the ship.
Session 07
August 22, 2009
“Is that what the kids are calling these days?”
“A Punch in the Nailhole!” Fuzzy Navel + Rusty Nail
A week passes!
- The asteroid is raided for supplies and divvied up.
- Agnes is completely dismantled and flushed.
- Work continues on Cylon communications block on a global scale. Something that is not nuclear-like lethal.
- Susan is still working with Suzanna Alpha putting together a fruit basket.
- Darrago is investigating where the cylon on the shuttle came from.
- Ricken is “visiting” the cylon on a regular basis.
- Ricken is getting Boreas up to speed on more tactical training.
- Loginus is campaigning! Happiness, rights and tolerance for everyone.
- Stallion is investigating the attacks on Ricken and Mason.
- Stallion is continuing training with the 30 Gethsemene recruits. They are NOT getting help from Chief Vance.
- Thaddeus is waiting for the information from the asteroid to be distilled and translated.
- Thaddeus is setting up the media interview with Mason.
- Thaddeus is organizing plans for fabrication and people for sustainable life support things.
- Boreas is accepting training from Ricken, keeping close to Tanya, and helping out with the police movement.
- Thea is campaigning, but her heart’s not completely into it.
Camera opens!
- Boreas gets a request to let Michelle DeVoney? get a visitor pass. Eventually Sgt. Dwyer escorts Michelle to Chief Vance. She’s here to talk to Chief Vance about the possibility of starting up production facilities on the Promethea. Vance brushes her off like a bad haircut.
- Boreas heads to his quarters to see Tanya, to find her gone, and apparently she’s gone up to CIC. Butler has threatened her that she may never be registered back for duty. He talks her down and gets her to rest again in their quarters.
- Thaddeus and Mason discuss plans for getting some sort of production planned or set up, and supply chains are discussed. Mason heads off to discuss plans with Buck, and Stavros visits Thaddeus. He’s hedging his bets with all of the campaign runners and delivers a mail-order Russian bride… a willowy blonde with some “electronics penetration” experience.
- Ricken is working on a Tylium search for mining. They’re looking for a mining zone that may have some small action to show the civilians why the military is there. Ricken has Stallion set up Raptors to patrol, and plan to leave. Boreas brings up the problematic issue about the Omega.
- Chief Vance and Boreas talk after the meeting. “This is not right.”
- Dex Molotov, one of Stavros’ lackeys speaks with Loginus and throws in their support behind Loginus. They discuss holding a number of rallies on the certain ships that Stavros’ men are parts of the unions.
- Vance gets back to the flight deck, and T’suru notes some discrepancies with some munitions missing. Vance immediately goes to Red and asks about the missing munitions. He tells her that someone had approached him looking for guns, but turned them down. Vance asks for names, and Red says he can try to find someone. Vance heads back to T’suru, and they go through a list of suspects, and Shark’s name comes up. Vance calls Stallion, and needs him for his body. Stallion gets Shark out of her bunk, and Shark’s all sorts of messed up on sleeping off booze and drugs. Vance asks about the crates, and Shark says she just looked the other way in exchange for not cutting off the drug line to Shark. They make a beeline to the brig and get Dr. Gentry to start detoxing Shark. Shark makes a confession, it was two guys that approached her, one of then her pusher Benji. Vance calls Ricken to come down to the brig.
- Ricken heads down to see Shark in the bring and giving a statement. Vance seems to have the situation under control… and has Stallion and Butler come down to the brig. Before they get there, Red shows up with Pt. Victor Guy all beat up and confesses to relabeling the crate, and rats out Benji. Ricken also asks Stallion to look into what she’s been doing in the last few days, since she’s much more messed up on drugs to just be on it for a single day binge. Ricken then makes herself a nuisance and follows Butler around to watch the investigation.
- Once Ricken leaves Vance and Gentry, the doctor leaves and then takes care of the Sharon cylon in the brig to their many horrible wounds. Vance heads back to the flight deck and lets T’suru know they’re now in the clear and the dogs of war are hunting elsewhere.
- Susan and the Bios talk, and they decide that sending Susan back right now may endanger her. Human are a murderous evil bunch and they will kill you godforsaken Bios. So, we’ll send Otis back. He “escapes” in the “gift basket lounge” as a heavy raider tows and jumps the container out into the breadcrumb path of the Promethea. They talk about setting out a second breadcrumb of providing cylon intelligence to the humans.
- CIC gets a DRADIS contact, it’s the lost raptor signal. However, it’s a space storage container with biological and mechanical readings. No radiologicals. Boreas has the container towed into a gun firing range and has Vance send out a search and rescue raptor to investigate. They find Leland Otis, who states that the food is poisoned and it’s from the cylons.
- Ricken and Mason talk.
A page of verse, “To My Son.” A poem about a mother and son being separated. Thea reads the poem. Susan is working on her hydroponics, Suzanna is looking wistfully out into deep space, “Be well.”
Session 08
September 12, 2009
"Aardvark" is the safe word.
Where we last left off the Battlestar Promethea:
The crew of the Promethea was investigating the Bios "Fruit Basket".
- Galen is in his quarters, when he’s visited by Dr. Santos. He wants to talk about Loginus... but also hands him a piece of interesting paper. And starts chanting "13" in some strange language... and some odd discussion of Galen, as a CYLON? There’s a flashback to when Galen was 10, Dr. Santos is there, administering treatments to him, and that there seems to be some memory blocks that should be reinstalled. There’s another flashback to a very young Susan (Susanna?) holding a baby. In the flashbacks, it also seems that Galen is a child between a Cylon and a Bios. There also seems to be a plan of a reveal, or a resistance together against the Cylons.
- Stallion goes to see the Admiral, and goes to talk to him about the schism that seems to be going on with the crew, and does he have any advice to remedy this? He’s willing to make a public statement, and lead by example.
- Chief Vance goes to visit, and bring up that she miiight have given Ricken the idea to go for a quickie victory. Oops. It sucks, but make sure that if this operation is going to go off, that it goes off without any loss of lives. In the big picture, it’s still considered a good idea.
- Stallion and Chief Vance have a discussion afterwards abut Drugs, and some way to get morale back up. Shore leave?
- Ricken sees a child on the CIC, it’s Aleka, uttering "There will be a price." Ricken looks around, and the child is gone. The Hephesteaus calls, it’s Sgt. T’suru. They are about to start on the third testing of the food... But Ricken decides that it’s safe enough, and to work on a distribution list throughout the colony.
- Paladin has been working on translations, and comes up with a breakthrough. Apparently there’s sets of coordinates that relate to several of the colonies, including a "lost planet" that is a hearth of war and other ominous things. Darrago calls Ricken and arranges to go see her in her quarters on the Promethea. He’d like to send some sort of search party out there to see what is there. A clandestine Raptor is arranged by Boreas. Darrago takes off.
- Thaddeus is informed that the interview is on for tomorrow at 7pm on the Midas. Thea talks to Otis about what happened on the Bios ship. Thea sends messages to the Promethea.
- Galen is a Bi-lon, raised by a human, looking to bring all of the awesome races together. They’re very interested in Galen’s child, since it’s a combo of all three races.
History!
50 years ago, Cylons were jerks. They were working on humanizing Cylons, which was coming to a dead-end tech tree. Five cylons showed up, and offered up resurrection tech. There was a splinter group, the Bios, that axed the resurrection tech to try to become more human. They broke off, and one of the models they used was Susan, a Bios grown off of her engrams.
- Galen is woken up from his dream download by Michelle that Otis will be released soon, and that she should look after the kids! However, Galen lets her know that the security is extra high and there’s no way he could get to them now.
- There’s testing that goes on for cylons, the cylon in the brig, Dr. Santos, Galen Navarro, and the cylon comes up positive, the others are clean. Boreas reports to Ricken, who is drunk... and is lamenting her lot in life.
- Susan is visited by James, a "born" Bios. There’s philosophical discussion about their worlds and the differences between humans, cylons, and bios. They discuss cylon models, bios born kids.
- Stallion gets back reports on the flybys of possible strike points. He reports to Boreas, and there’s talks about what the conspiracy is behind the container.
- Paladin jumps to the strange coordinates. There’s a sun and a planet, and there’s no signs of ships or civilization. Crazed shared hallucination! There’s apparently groups of thugs fighting. Groups of humans are fighting, Paladin is able to con then to not pay attention for a bit so he can investigate elsewhere. There’s this dome of crystal, filled with melee weapons. Ancient carvings of some old old language are everywhere. Samples are taken and brought back.
- Vance goes to Ricken, gives her a pep talk.
- Loginus is still on the campaign track, and winning over the masses.
- Thaddeus has a strategy meeting with his team about Gabrielle, which then falls asleep. (Which is where Chris quite literally, passed out.)
Session 09
October 10, 2009
Last time, on Battlestar Promethea...
- Ricken wakes up with a heavy head, dragging but back in the groove. Stallion and Boreas are in the middle of planning the attack on CIC against Charon, the planet picked for the raid, along with Slipstream. Details are discussed about the opposition, they’ve got 1-2 base stars parked nearby. If the Promethea, Hephesteaus and Omega jumped in nearby, they could take them out. Ricken calls Mason, and Mason agrees to be over with Cpt Lucas "sometime today".
- Galen has been spending a lot of time in the lab. He finds a unique enzyme that is involved with cylon resurrection. Galen continues working on making new detection tests and breaking in to Dr. Gentry’s computer.
- Chief Vance is working on an atmospheric electrification procedure. There’s a pow wow for ideas of doing this to a Cylon homeworld... and the idea comes up to grab some Rays off of the Omega and use some jump drives. Vance talks to Ricken about getting some Rays, which she’ll look into. Also, Ricken assigns Vance and Boreas to find out where the container came from. (Paladin is also to be pulled into the "current" investigation.)
- Stallion is going through pilots and prepping them for the upcoming scuttle.
- Michelle visit Galen and tells him about Otis, that’s he’s currently being held on the Hephesteaus. Galen asks her to be his wife, as soon as the scrolls are undone. There’s a note sent to Otis’ quarters to ask for the scroll to be undone, or the charges will continue to be processed, a note that Otis promptly ignores.
- Paladin returns to the Promethea, and Chief Vance knows immediately that the Raptor made planetfall. Paladin asks for Vance to keep this very quiet. Paladin checks in with Ricken, and the meeting with practically everyone!
Meeting! Admiral, Chief Vance, Stallion, Ricken, Paladin, Lukas, and Mason.
First the weapon, the atmospheric weapon against cylon transmission. The plan is discussed to get some Rays to set up some exploding jump drives
Second, the mysterious coordinates. He explains that he had visited a primitive planet that was habitable, not hospitable. There was a primitive race, and also some ancient structure, "The Home of the Forgotten, now the Enternal Home of War."
Third, there’s a plan of attack that’s possible for a run for fuel. Do we use the Omega? There’s all sorts of discussion about how that works.
Mason asks the Admiral and ricken to stay behind, and asks the admiral to participate in any away missions to the new special planet. The Admiral describes how the Orion follows the Promethea, based on colonial jump signatures.
- - - -
Susan talks about setting up a new container, full of exciting new stuff. There’s talk about projections, and then introduced to Lazarus WHO LOOKS JUST LIKE ADMIRAL TITUS. Apparently, Longinus’ grandfather was one of the scientists responsible to make the Bios. Titus was chosen first, Susan was chosen second.
There’s all sorts of projection talk, including talking about suppressing/deleting Dori from Susan’s brain. Eventually, they try out a projection... Her and Lazarus project into a lab, and there’s a child hiding under a table. It’s her strongest memory.
- There’s a quorum meeting, and the military proposals are brought up, as well as the usages of the Omega.
- Thaddeus talks to the radio station, and is asked for support. There’s also discussion about the political climate.
Session 10
November 14, 2009
Last time, on Battlestar Promethea,
- The camera focuses in on the Midas, with the cold exterior of space and the swooping interior of the inside of the casino ship. Inside are Thea and Thaddeus, with Gabrielle. Get to a suite, olive skinned woman along (Sharee) with a black haired man in his 20s (the Voice), smoking. There’s some basic conversation to get aquianted and they start the interview.
- Chief Vance is under one of the Omega’s rays. She’s been examining the possibility of installing a remopte piloting system as well as exploding a jump drive system inside. Ensign Josh Soulemain, from the Hephesteaus is recognized on deck. He asks the chief out for a pint and a nosh, and there’s a serious horror realized that the Chief can’t remember last time she had a drink, a social outing, or heck a decent meal. They decide to head over to The Closet.
There’s some smalltalk... Josh’s dad was a car mechanic, he now works in propulsion. There’s talk of where the spare jump drive came from, which only the captain seems to know. There’s talk about the container, and what Captn Lucas is like. They eventually get to the Closet. There’s some alcohol had.
Eventually Red shows up and starts spilling about the huge machine outpost attack. There’s a lot of bonding over explosives, and the subject of Tanya’s arm getting blown off comes up. Eventually Red heads off, and Josh asks about how much he’s had to drink.
- Thea and Voice talk about religion. Thea feels there needs to be open religious freedoms that needs to be addressed, that voices are not being heard.
- Loginus is currently leading a packed rally. God has chosen all of us, we are all being punished for our lack of faith. Through our preserverence we shall form the new core of humanity.
Cut to Loginus talking to Councellor Simian Voss about his messages of hope. He could feed them hope, but the people want a leader, a practical real leader. There’s discussion of Loginus’ directions, and Loginus offers to Voss to become his campaign manager. Talks turn to campaign strategies and direction.
- Thea and Voice: What have you personally contributed to the Fleet? There was the entire census, which helped with the allocating of resources. There was also standing up for civilian rights, specifically the scientists that were conscripted against their will.
- Paladin and Stallion was working on encouraging a civilian law enforcement. He gets a lead about a crate of rifles that had been stolen appearing on the Rainbow Dawn. Paladin heads over, while Stallion grubs together the paperwork for charges.
Wende Bell - Captain of Rainbow Dawn
Paladin arrives at the Rainbow Dawn. They’re searching the ship and looking for the suspect. He’s here to observe the functions of the civilian police force. There’s the sound of shots fired, and Paladin observes, and notes that one of the security guards doesn’t move like military or policing... much better. And the other policeman doesn’t seem to have a problem with dead bodies. The suspect had a gun, and was shot four times in the chest.
Randy Riggs (the cop in charge), reports that there were noise and a scuffle, they broke down the door and the guy tried to pull a gun, where the put him down. There’s some question about Riggs and his background, and apparently he’s had ‘prior training’. Paladin informs them they’ll be likely getting a further investigation from the Promethea.
Stallion heads up to CIC and talks to Boreas about getting the paperwork. Stallion in the progress of getting that paperwork, is informed the suspect was killed. Meanwhile, Ricken tells Boreas to move the Promethea within firing range of the Rainbow Dawn, which Boreas refuses to do. He’s ordered to his quarters...
The Councellor on the Rainbow Dawn calls Ricken and is FURIOUS. Ricken doesn’t give a damn. Various calls and rumors are exchanged about what is up with the Raptors being launched at the Rainbow Dawn. Paladin talks with the captain of the Rainbow Dawn and the captain says he was ordered by the councellor to not to let them board. Thea ends up calling Ricken, and ordering her to stand down her posturing on the Rainbow Dawn.
- Thea answers the question about the controversial dismissal of Admiral Titus. There’s a discussion abotut he facts, and that basically it was the decision of the Quorum and their confidence in him, however, Thea feels that if circumstances had been different the results may have been better. There’ some regret in her voice.
There’s a question about the cylon threat. Thea answers about the fact that the anger and fear that the fleet has against the cylons needs to be met with a temperance for survival, that a being bent on anger can only run for so long.
- Josh and Chief Vance finish their date, Stallion launches out in a Viper with a friend to act as possible alternative for an interdiction. Chief calls up to CIC, and finds out the mess that’s going on. She decides to head up and see what’s going on.
- Susan is in front of a terminal and looking over Cylon intel from the Bios. She’s looking it over and is formatting out any of the touch feely bios info that may be in there. Dr. Santos comes to visit and asks Susan to visit with Lazarus and Susanna. Apparently, there’s been a contact with the cylons, and they’re asking for advice. The cylons have launched a search pattern within the sector, and within six hours, they’re going to find the fleet. Susan offers to get into a raptor and head back to the fleet to warn them. There’s talk about Admiral Titus, and what to do about his involvement with the bios. Also about the Dr Santos that’s with the fleet. There’s light conversation about Susan son and his involvement with the cylons, read: denial. They prep her for sendoff back to the fleet.
- Galen Navarro is looking over the research files, when Dr. Gentry shows up. The conversation takes an ominous turn about the research, and Gentry accuses Galen of being a cylon, which he denies at first until she lays out the exact ways she knows. She wants to know why he’s helping, and he explains that it must be a false positive, which she buys. [Dr. Gentry actually made a show of "believing" Galen's story, as a plausible cover. -CRL]
- Vance gets up to CIC, Ricken hands over her gun to Vance to resist shooting. Ricken goes over to Boreas’ room and they have a talk about him refusing orders and how foolish it was for him. Ricken orders him to take two weeks off.
When we get together next time, we’ll be covering the results of the military raid on the Rainbow Dawn.
Session 14 - January 2, 2010
Last time on battlestar promethea... well, who knows, since the log is on another computer.
- We see Paladin running through the flickerng lights of the Battlestar, and the overhear Ricken's announcement of the blind jump. but somethgn feels wrong with the jump, and paladin finds himself in stone corridors of a labyrinth from Kobol. It's just him, and his feet seem to be moving on their own accord. The goal is to get to the center, face the monster and leave. He enters the center chamber, and the center is empty... no monster, and four closed doors in all the cardinal points. There are glyphs and bas relief... of a warrior, a priest, a merchant, and a sarcophagus -- on each door. There are torches in the center, and four twisted shadows are cast towards each of the doors. he reaches for the door of the warrior, a red light erups and he is drawn through the door.
- Chief Vance sees the red planet, and a shipyard, and a strange vipers appears with Rogue's markings, which lands and a cylon gets off, Vance takes a shot, but it deflects. it takes off its helmet, and it's Rogue. He begs her to not let them ground him, that he needs to fly. he gets back in the viper and take off straight for the chief, which she dodges, and falls. And the jump is completed.
* Leland Otis is playing in a field with Aleka and Timon, in a vision of perfect happiness on his homeworld. Timon spots something and runs out to the forest, and Leland runs afterwards. he disappears into the forest which erupts into flames. Aleka is screaming and screaming, and Leland wakes up in his room, with the fire alarm going off.
- Boreas is an old man in his fifties, sitting with Tanya in an immaculate temple. There's a man walking towards the front of the temple, dressed in colonial clothes carrying a sword to the front, and he feels a sense of pride. The man holds the sword up, in front of a banner of Ares, where a red flash of light comes through the windows.
- Ricken is drowning in a raging current, and two hands, one of an infinitysymbol, and the other a symbol of the colonies. ricken reaches for the conoly symbol and is pulled out of the river of blood.
- Susan is in a lab as herself, dressed normally. She tries to disengage fromt he projection, but hears the terrified cries of a child un derneath a desk. The child is herself, and Susan comforts the smaller Susan. She stands up on her own without the assistance of crutches. Two cylons walk in, one of them lookign very plastic android cylon like. Little Susan yells at te Jennifer that she hates her, and older Susan realizes that her memory of Jennifer is false being a 'real' skin job. The jennifer looks terrified and backs away.
* Galen feels the ship lurch, and Aleka's body goes rigid and arcs, and her eyes roll back into her head. Aleka says thatthe golden sun has her mother, and has taken her back home, maybe the colonies. Galen asks where timon is, and Aleka only knows that he's in danger. People are picking themselves up off the floor, half the emergency lights are working. Galen helps some patients, and soemone reports that CIC is silent.
* Stallion is cruising aroudn the new red sun. He looks over the Promethea, and it's pretty badly beaten. There's still a heavy raider that is leeched onto the side, and part of a raider that is stuck to the other side. Stallion slices them off.
* Chief Vance has landed in the bay, where she was trying to lower the raptors down. Th mechanism is down. She then hears that Stallion trying to radio CIC, and it's not responding. She hollers for people and starts moving, arming themselves and start heading for engineering. She radios Stallion to let him know the situation, and comes up with a safe route to get to Engineering. Blade radios in and says he can get out of lauch bay two, making some property destruction along the way. Him and Stallion see two heavy raiders drop off and trying to escape. They start firing, and the one ahead of them gets away through jump. Chief Vance signs off, and starts on her way.
* Meanwhile on CIC, everyone is picking themselves off the floor. Titus is still standing, and helps Ricken off the floor. Boreas check out how bad the ship is, and it's bad. Comm is down, jump drive and dardis is down, the emergency power is at about half. They start going about reinstating some of the networked systems to get some connections under emergency going again. Susan tsks Boreas' work and helps out, after getting Ricken to say please. Ricken eventually races off to an airlock.
* Leland gets out of his burning cabin, and grabs a gun off a dead marine. He starts going down the hallways, with smoke in the hallways and the sounds of Cylons fill the halls. he stumbles into the medbay coughing, and Galen sees him stumble in. otis doesn't see them right away, and starts getting oxygen. After Galen warns them, the marines tell Otis to put his gun away. Galen revels himself to Otis and then Aleka and Otis reunite. Aleka spills that she doesn't know where Timon is, but that Mommy is with the Sun. Galen lets Otis know that he doesn't know where they are either. As Otis turns to talk to the marine, a short asian woman walks in armored heavily with several gund and a sun on her left breast. She has the two marines shoot each other, and then starts searchign the room for 'voluteers'. She finds galen and volunteers him, and then she finds otis with Aleka. As soon as the woman starts talkign to Galen, Otis rushes her with the handgun. She breaks his wrist easily and shoves him away. Galen aks that Aleka gets taken along, which she does, but not before Otis is kneecapped and left behind.
* Ricken is at the airlock, and is trying to get a comm out. Boreas is making smalltalk with Susan as they make the network connections. Stallion and Hopscotch are still scanning with dradis. Ricken lets them know that if they get a hold of engineering to let them know we need thursters so the Promethea orbit doesn't decay into the sun. Ricken asks Hopscotch to come get her from her favorite airlock.
* Boras and Susan have smalltalk, about the factions of Cylons, that there are some factions that are more and less mean, and even a faction of Cylons that are not agressive. Peaceful? No, non-agressive. They get dradis back online, and there's a wicked awesome hi-5 that is immediately awkward.
* Sterringer gets some sort of message on the line. (insert message that Cris spews out. It's a bunch of freaky gibberish.) Paladin quickly rough tanslates it, and then grabs up all of the research he can to get rid of it. he burns the papers, and tells sterringer to pull the hard drives. A minute later, there's the sound of Cylon centurions in the hallway.
* Chief Vance is still heading towards engineering, avioding cylons and taking some somewhat dangerous pathways. she makes it to engineering, and Veritt is there as well, kinda beaten and worn. Comm has been partially restored, they're working on completing comm and thrusters.
* Stallion and Blade are still flying, Hopscotch picks up Ricken and heads for the engines. they find an airlock nearby and heads in to get to engineering. As the air is cycling through, there is movement and a flash of metal. Vance hears Ricken on the comm, and gets an update. however, there are cylons in the hall, using a minigun to cut through debris. they make working on the engines a priority as the airlock is rapidly decompressed and the cylons are pulled downt the corridor and are pulled out the airlock. One of them grabs on, and ricken goes out the airlock with the cylon. The CIC gets to hear over the comm as ricken is screaming at the cylons.
* Paladin gets injust in time to hear the screaming from Ricken.
* Ricken wrassles with the centurion, and Stallion makes a phenomenal shot with his viper gun to blow the centurion off the colonel, and Hopscotch snatches up the colonel in the raptor. 'Combat Airlocking' is invented. And the techno FRAK song is remastered between Boreas and Holly.
* Galen is being escorted by Patricia (Galen Girlfriend Sharon), and there's conversation about the location of Michelle, and the sigil used against the centurions. She intends not to let go of Galen again, to build her status with the imperious leader, now that the jamming is down. They get to the brig, and there's the dead Sharon on the floor along with a dead marine. As they try to leave, there's a gas canister thrown into the brig. Gentry has thrown in a canister in, and start threatening Patricia. Patricia's fingers start turnign blue. She threatens Galen, and tries to get an answer, but no one is quite sure. She lets the prisoners go, and she slides a canister in. they take off, when Patricia finds the antidote is actually perfume. Gentry has made an areson version of the cylon detection system. Galen is still worried abotu Michelle as she is likely being held by the cylons somewhere.
* On CIC, there's a frantic setup to get the Promethea out of the drop into the sun, since there isn't enough engine thrust to be able to pull out. There's a crazy pull through and three thrust firings to get out of the gravity pulls of the two stars.
* The Admiral pulls guns out of a secret compartment, including a garbage disposal shaped shotgun shredder. Titus, Paladin, Tanya and several marines go out cylon hunting.
* Galen asks Gentry to take Aleka somewhere safe, and Galen makes a run to the other side of the barricade. he gets to come cylon parts, and interfaces with some of the downed cylons, lookign for michelle. Michelle was on the target list and was aquired, Galen, the terraformign data as wel on the list. the otis family wason the minor list, as well as Admiral Titus. Michelle was taken off of Promethea before thr blind jump. Galen smashes the cylon head before the CIC strike squad shows up.
* It's the CIC crew versus the cylon group behind the barrier, witht he skin job Patricia and some centurions. After some snarky talk, there's a hail of bullets as a zip gun tears through one of the marines. Paladin makes a battle cry for Ares, the marines charge. Tanya eventually loses her SMG and starts beating cylons with a pipe. Eventually Titus and Patricial get in a hand to hand brawl, which seems to move fluidly and faster than humanly normal. Though the fight is furious, she eventually slams Titus into the wall, ribs crack. Galen tackles Patricia and they're in a death struggle... which eventually knocks out Patricia. Galen informs Titus that the scramblers are off before he passes out himself. Only paladin and Tanya and kinda Titus are still standing when the brawl is over.
- On CIC, the vipers of Stallion and Blade are standing on point outside of Promethea to make sure nothing tries to get out and leave. Susan is working helping restoring systems, Cheif stays in engineering to patch and mend, Boreas is running CIC.
- Titus and the brute team drop Patricia off at the brig. Titus, Otis and ricken are all in the medbay.
- Flashback! Longinus and Marsh is being led down a corridor from his interview with Elle. Titus Imperius is staning next to her. "What do you think? I've got what I need, the other woman is in medical." They go to a dark room, where there's a machine. She pulls up her sleeve and interfaces. Lights come on, and there's a red light that comes on. It's a gold battered centurion. Elle's mannerisms have totally changed, and Titus Imperius references Elle and says "So old man, what's you assessment, Lucifer?"
End of Episode!
Session 15
Session 15 - January 16, 2010
Last time on battlestar promethea: Well, that's another log that's on my otehr computer, but basically? We're hosed!
- Exterior shot of Promethea, with two vipers circlign around, the two stars in the background, the docking bay 3 still sparking. Cut to interior corridor, full of dead cylons and marines. Buler is helping up a wounded marine, but the marine dies. Butler closes his eyes, hears a noise, and looks about... a shadow falls across his face, "Oh frak" and something bad happens.
- Paladin, Tanya, Titus and marines are moving Patricia into the brig security cell. She's tied down, veeery securely. Titus asks for Paladin to come back to the military temporarily to help with flying. Titus then orders for noone to talk to the prisoner, and if she comes around, to evac the area and pump out the air while they're getting a hold of him. Titus calls up to CIC, asks for the safest route, the status of Ricken, and to get a hold of Lt Butler. Also to "ask" Susan Navarro to come to the med bay. There's a status meeting set to happen in two hours. Boreas asks Susan to go to medical, she asks if she's to be dissected? No, probably not. Susan heads down, Boreas and crew gets to work.
- Vance is working furiously in engineering, which is fairly frakked. Let's get life support working, without pumping it out all through the holes.
- In the medbay, Leland's hand and knee are in pain. the nurses are telling him to wait, since he's not nearly as bad off as other wounded. Otis gets up anyways with a bad knee and claws his way up an IV stand to help organize the cluster frak going on in medbay, noting a KOed Galen being brought in. The administrator gets the act together and helps administrate to let the docs do their job. Otis calls down to CIC and lets them know they don't have doctors.
Galen is coming around, he's been choked and kinda beaten. he's somewhat mobile, wobbly but doing okay. otiss sees if Galen can help with triage. he eventually comes to and helps. otis asks where Aleka is, and Galen's not entirely sure. Otis calls back to CIC, and asks about Aleka and Dr Gentry. CIC is doing everything they can to account for people... currently Lt Butler is missing, but Red Cranford is leading the search until then.
Nurse Potts sees Ricken come in, Otis politely informs that Ricken may die. They start peeling the environmental suit off of her, and her various injuries.
- Stallion is still flying out there with Blade, Hopscotch. He checks some radiation levels, and it's "okay?"... Stallion looks around for a parkign spot. He gets a hold of one of the maintenance dock guys, and arranges landing.
- (slightly back in time) Titus speak with Paladin about the information from the Galatea temple. The information's being held on CIC with Boreas. There's talk of how cool patricia was, and that Titus' training was "specialized cylon combat training". galen seemed to be doign pretty good as well... maybe galen has something going on? No one seems to like that idea, but maybe Patricia may be able to answer some questions... or maybe Galen could answer them.
- At medbay, Gentry shows up helping an injured civilian. otis gets Gentry to Ricken, she's needed for surgery. Ricken states... "Tell the chief, tell her that I lo.." and passes out. Otis barges in during surgery, and asks where Aleka is... safe. But where? In the temple, with Brother Sterling.
- paladin, tanya and titus show up at medical, they run into Otis. They hear briefly about the messed up ricken, and that Otis is runnign triage. Titus asks paladin to help with triage, Titus says he's going to be in Gentry's office. Otis mentions, by the way, Susan Navarro is a cylon, and that Galen guy is one too. Titus asks Paladin to talk to Otis about loose lips... and Susan shows up. Otis plans to start helping treated people to the temple.
* Susan heads into Dr. Gentry's office where Titus is waiting. Titus asks where Susan stands, if they sent her back with instructions. Susan says she's not an 'agent', she asked to be bought back to the colonial fleet. Titus offer for Susan to be made into an intelligence officer, to have the protection of military law. But's what's your intention Titus? Is it the same? You gave a very rousing speech to destroy the cylons as a people, how's that working out for you? It's given people hope and fire. But Susan isn't thrilled with working on military projects. Susan, is there another way? She doesn't know. She agrees to be his intelligence officer, but she's not going to build weapons. And let's make sure the information stays inside her skull. She asks for debris to be sent to Sterringer's lab for study, and that titus will be calling for the meeting when he's in order. he raises a toast to her, To Absent Friends, and they drink.
Susan heads out to Sterringer's lab with her marines, and collects cylon parts on the way. She finds the remants of the brawl between the Cylons and Marines, and after checking for life collects parts, and makes a note of the sunbursts.
((Watch your theme moments, Andi))
Session 16
Session 16 (Episode 2 of Season 3)
Last time, on Battlestar Promethea...
- We see a empty shot glass hit Gentry's desk. tius has continued drinking after Susan leaves. Because of his wounded shoulder, he grabs a ops scrubs and heads out into Medical. it's total chaos. Paladin's in the middle of it, as he's dealing with wounded.
There's a dad with a sucking chest wound, with a small boy holding onto him, and an older sister trying to coax him away. Paladin talks him somewhat down. Titus and Paladin talk, and he requests for any marines with First Aid to be sent to medical to help out with triage. Paladin helps out to get wounded to the officer's bunks so that spaces in medical can be made for more wounded individuals. Titus staunches the girl's wound, and then heads into surgery.
- Galen is helping out with the ricken surgery, as he realizes he's Ggot information and lessons coming back to him from Dr. Santos. Titus walks in, and it's decided that Galen can finish Ricken's surgery, and Gentry goes to attend to others.
* Chief Vance gets a call from the Admiral. He lets her knows that the Colonel may not make it. Vance continues to restore air to the ship.
- Stallion is still doing rounds outside the Promethea, setting up 12-hour shifts to have people cover a big chunk of space. He docks, and gets a status report on whatever flies... which isn't much, at all.
- Boreas is managing CIC... Cranford reports in that Lt Butler is dead. A Corporal reports in later to ask for medical support, and Boreas sets finishing marine teams to help with triage.
- Otis heads to the temple with the minor need triage victims, and walks in on Father Sterling as he's finishing a speech to the gods of healing. Leland sees Aleka, who calls out the name of Ares. "Daddy, Ares is coming." SHe eventually leaves her glazed state and, asks where Timon is. Otis asks where mom is, and she says she's still with the sun. Aleka is scared, and Otis assures her that since they're in the templeof the gods, they'll be safe. The crowd talks in hushed tones, as they see the blood shedded by Otis makesthe symbol of Mars pointing to the altar.
- Galen is working on Ricken, and he feels the projection aspect being to be able to help. Galen pushes it, and he projects to a red gamblign card table in a garden. There's a dapper military-ish dressed man (Nathan Fillon) sittign at the table with Ricken. There's card shark banter and betting -- Galen bets the truth abotu himself, the man bets who his patron is, and Ricken bets the company she keeps. Galen wins the hand, and Rocken revels that she believes in the One God, where the man reveals he's the hand of Ares. Galen snaps out of his vision, and is finishing up patching up Ricken. It seems that she's going to pull through.
- Thea, Thaddeus, Midin, Loginus, Capt Marsh have returned to the Hephesteaus. The base star transmits the ships that are to be used for ferrying people to the surface of Aquaria, as well as a list of stipulations of what not to bring to the surface. There's talk of what supplies to ask if it would be okay to bring, and also what materails and supplies to bring for short and long term living.
eventually, the group is joined with a professor from the Unity, as well as heasrt's folks and Stavros. Plans are made.
- Thaddeus and Thea meet off to the side, and there's discussion of the trust they can have in Stavros. It's decided that they're likely going to haveto part ways to be able to operate effecdtively.
- Longinus heads over to the Gethsemene to discuss plans of moving theor people and religion on the island.
The five ships approved for transport are the Midas, the Gethsemene, the Erelon Sun, the Unity and the caprica Star.
- Longinus radios the hephesteaus to let them know they're heading down, which hasn't ben cleared yet. Herbert lets Lucas know that he'll take care of it, and radios the base star to ask for permission to go down early.
- Thea gets two calls. First, the base star instructing her that any questions she has will be with Titus Imperius down on the surface of Aquaron. The next is Lucas informing thea that the Gethsemene wishes to head down early.
- The base star informs Longunis that the Gethsemene can follow the heavy raider down to the surface.
- Thea heads down in the raider with Marsh. Longinus heads down in the gethsemene with his people. They land and exit their ships. There seems to be Cylon ship activity on the surface, and there's several symbols of the sun god here stationed around. They're informed of the cylon plans -- people will land on one planet, be scanned, walk over a several mile bridge and stay. if people are found with contraband, the contraband will be destroyed, any other possessions they hold as well as the person and well as any people nearby. The islands will be watched from afar. If they go past horizon, they will not return.
- Longinus walks with Titus Imperius... he offers for Titus to join them. However, Titus has bigger fish to fry. Also, Longinus informs Titus of the plan to shunt junk down to the surface. titus is amused by the plan, though he feels it will be futile. Also, Titus expects that they'll try to bring other forms of contraband, that can get past the scanners.
- Professor Tessa Dannon and Lucas are talking on CIC about things to bring, as well as structures that are already on the ground. Thea arrives back with the fleet, and informs then about what she was told by Titus on the surface. Marsh asks for permission to organize with the Council a dispersement plan among the islands.
- Longinus negotiates with Titus, and gets innoculations as well as the knowledge to appropriately smuggle supplies. He's got 5000 people.
- Marsh sets up to take down 150 marines down to secure and set down on the surface.
Session 17
Session 17 (Episode 3 of Season 3)
(why are these gloves elbow length -- OH.)
(surgery is like adultery....)
(So say we awl!)
Last time, on Battlestar Promethea...
- Longinus' hand is being fit with a glove. Lady Elle is helping out putting it on. "Eventually you won't need this." And she takes the wire and shoves it into her flesh. There's a feeling of being less alone, and her thoughts are heard in his head. The gloves are supposed to help interact better with cylon technology. There's a tenative sharing of tenderness, and Longinus asks if Elle wants to come with them, but She explains she's a slave and wouldnt be allowed to go. He implores her to ask. She asks if he feels that the Cristos will return, and he feels that the signs are everywhere, and the cycle is broken. Sh tells that there is more work for her to do, but speaks of a man that will come to Longinus, that he must accept back to him before he knows of his true nature.
- Longinus sets up with someone he doesn't like to carry some contraband in, and stands by the scanner station. he attempts to manipulate the scanner, and fails, the guy is gunned down.
- The Midas lands, and the military starts unloading out. Longinus starts rushing people through, and he gets in position to set the scanner off. Captian Marsh deploys people to start setting up lanes, safety stations, and deploying the advance team to seet up secure points. Longinus feels through and connects with the tech, setting the scanner off, and some folks are blown away. After a few more times, there's some marines that try to get through, but they're wanded by some Cylons. Marsh catches up with Longinus and gives him the doissier on the islands....
- Pace back: Captian Marsh, Major Lucas and Professor Dannon go through the debriefing with the quorum. Location deployment, unloading instructions, and trauma plans are discussed. Dannon adresses the barrage of questions about the island, Thea handles all the questions that are on an emotional level, and is fairly vocal for others to shut up and let us do our job. it's noted that new game-changing factions are starting to change and form.
- Hearst confirms that the junk piles are being deployed to the surface, and gets set up with an additioanl scanner to check people out one last time before the go through the cylon scanners. There's also talk of smuggling and getting differnet contraband through.
- As Longinus and Marsh stand near the gate, a person in a labcoat, Dr Santos approaches Longinus and says he's delivered the Cristos into the hands of the Shaitan... Longinus acts dumb and not sure, Marsh walks away. He speaks of Michelle Otis' child, and how now it is with the Imperious Leader's ship. he begs for forgiveness and Longinus allows him to rejoin. Longinus reads through the provided debrief data from Marsh... There's two major buildings, a NOAH station and a park office.
Meanwhile on the battlestar promethea.
- Otis is hugging his daughter Aleka, and people in the chapel are fallign to one knee in reverence. Otis works on getting the hell out of there. Father Sterling invites more people in, and seems to be covering for Otis and Aleka to be able to leave. After some discussion, Aleka admits that Timon has been working a side job helping out the flight deck. Otis mildly freaks and shambles towards engineering, and eventually runs into the wall of hard vacuum. He convinces the military there that he has important information.
- Galen comes out of his fugue surgery moment, and the nurse is stunned. They bring over sucking chest wound guy. Gaylen fugues some more, and doesn't seem to have as much trouble doing surgery. He handles several triages and eventually Dr Gentry comes back to help.
- Stallion and Sweet run into each other, and are organizing the crew quarter rooms to make space for the wounded and the pilots to be able to deploy at a moment's notice. Stallion also continues to assign pilots to the 12 hour shifts.
- Chief Vance gets a priority call, and it's Otis. He asks where his son is. Vance lets him know where he was last seen, and then otis lets him know that the Colonel is in surgery and the gentry was pulled off her surgery. Eventually, she heads off to the meeting, and is racing off to stop at the medbay to check on ricken.
- In the front of medbay, Paladin is helping out with triage. he's planning to head to the meeting from the medbay. Paladin stops at the admiral's office, and the admiral asks if he'd take his military comission back. paladin mentions that he's the only representative of the civilian government, but that he can fly too.
- Stallion runs into Otis trying to get onto the flight deck 4, and Otis explains the plight of his son. Stallion offers to look around as Otis crashes on a bunk. Stallion finds Timon, organizing supplies. he talks to the kid, and Timon is in shock and shaken but functioning. Stallion finds Aleka and informs her about her brother while her father sleeps.
- Chief Vance gets to medbay, and asks the whereabouts about Ricken, which is in Gentry's office. Ricken's on a gurney with an IV... her head is scarred, hair is matted. Vance kisses her on the forehead and leaves an awl on her pillow.
- Meeting! The Admiral reassumes command. Susan Navarro is given a military intelligence position and promoted to Colonel. Dr. Gentry and Ricken will eventually join us. Boreas is promoted to XO, and Major, and tasked to coordinate. Stallion is tasked to finding a replacement. The chief is tasked to getting the promethea running again, as well as certify the flight status of all ships. Boreas gives the casualty numbers. Chief expresses the need for more hands, and the Admiral calls for the need of general volunteerism. There's also discussion of getting a general meeting of the populous on one of the flight decks.
As far a pilots, boy does it suck. The trainess are going to be graduated, and anyone else that can fly a viper is going to be scrounged up. Also, the amount of ships that can be scrounged up is small but usable. The ship is fairly trashed, but still ticking.
Navarro goes on about the Cylons, and how they seem to have different tribes. She speaks of the Bios, a small tribe that reveres humans. She brings up the data dump that was gifted to us by the bios. Friendly cylons? there's of researching of the list, and an examination of the current cylon models. The bios have their own unique looks.
The sun symbol brings up an odd familiaity with the Admiral... Hm.
There's talk of the bios, and what their relationship could be with the fleet. Are they enemies, would they help us? All very good questions.
And about the Omega. it could very well track back to the Promethea, could the cylons track it? Possibly. they also were able to get a jump out... which means they either know the system they were at, or eventually they're going to be able to track the promethea to where it is.
Corporal Kiel is promoted to Seargeant.

- Otis is woken up by a marine, and is asked to come with them. Booreas sends Stallion and Paladin to investigate. There's talk of the multiple Susans. there's talk of the Cheeri-Rogue. there's talk of the medical procedures done to him, and he notes that his kneecap isn't hurting so much, and it's not bleeding. Paladin takes that as a bad sign, and carts him to medical. There's mention of the cylon testing and that they tested negative.
- Stallion finds Galen and asks him questions... Galen asks on the whereabouts of his loved ones, which just so happens to be Otis' loved ones, and Stallion is happy to direct. there's talk of michelle and that she may have been taken.
There's checkup on otis' knee, and it seems in the last few hours it's healed about two weeks.
- Susan is cracking open centurion heads. it seems that most of the systems are wiped, but one of them seems to have a bit of data left.
- Brownouts continue to happen, and vance is working on it.
- Ricken comes to, and is updated on what's happened on the ship by Paladin. The Admiral's back, everyone got a promotion, and we're fine, thank you.
- the brownouts continue, and boreas along with chief vance figure out that the relays are being intentionally sabotaged. There seems to be a cylon made of spare parts that has adapted to a spider creature. it find Susan's lab and attempts to go for the data box she'd just made from the captured cylon head. Susan reasons with it somewhat and it scamers off to be lost by the marines. A deck by deck search is initiated.
- Ricken calls for Stallion. She dumps all of her secrets on him, including her following of the One God, and then passes out.
